His new lineup called K-MOD or ' Sten Hostfalt 3 or 4 ' feature musical friends of two decades, bassist Tim Luntzel ( Linda Ronstadt, Norah Jones, Bill Frisell ) and drummer Marko Djordjevic ( ' a drumming star ' Modern Drummer Magazine ) or as a bass-less trio, or full quartet featuring saxophonist Ole Mathisen ( Ron Carter, Peter Erskine, Kenny Barron, Randy Brecker ). And Sten Hostfalt on guitar, providing the typically all-composed song format material that also gives the band lots of room to stretch and improvise. In the collective, natural way of musicians who have played together alongside some of the most creative musicians of our time - over a timespan of 20 years.
