About the Venue: Puppet's Jazz Bar is the premier jazz club in Brooklyn, NY. We have some of the best jazz artists the WORLD has to offer play here (e.g., Arturo O'Farrill, Alex Blake, Victor Bailey, Jeff "Tain" Watts, Charnett Moffett, Bill Ware, and many more). We also have some great young up-and-coming musicians that will soon be household names too (e.g., Dave Marks, Braden Palmer, Matt Parker, JD Allen, Gregg August, and many more).
Puppet's Jazz Bar was started by my business partner Jaime Affoumado (a.k.a. Puppet Head) in 2005. I (Martin Fagin) came on board in early 2007 and the rest has been history. We've recently moved from the little whole in the wall we 1st opened in and now have a truly beautiful spot (Full Bar, Backyard, Baby Grand Piano, Vegetarian Menu, and more). So, please come check out this truly awesome club! We've put a lot into it and want so badly to continue to provide an awesome venue for both customer and musician alike. . .
