Biography:

Sherry Petta has been playing the piano and singing most of her life but only within the last two years has she focused on jazz standards.  Once she found and followed her passion, her local popularity grew rapidly from her performances, and after many requests for a CD, she put one together.

Her album, "this is why," consists of some fantastic standards and some well written originals that fit right in with the standards.  Sherry's music is played daily on Star 97.5FM in Phoenix, as well as on stations in a few other states across the country.

Sherry continues to do 1-2 shows per month in Arizona and is currently working on songs for her second album.
