Biography: Swingadelic is the New York City Metropolitan Area’s greatest “little big band” that delivers the traditional big band music of Ellington, Basie and Sinatra, mixed with the soulful sounds of Ray Charles and adds just the right dose of some swingin’ Sixties grooves to come up with the most listenable and danceable music for your wedding, party or special event. Swingadelic can also provide music for your cocktail hour with sophisticated, classic standards à la George Gershwin and Cole Porter. The band members of Swingadelic are seasoned professionals with years of experience in many musical styles. The band’s instrumentation is upright bass, guitar/vocals, drums, piano and a horn section varying from two to eight pieces depending on your space and budget requirements. Dance instructors and female vocalists are also available. Swingadelic has performed at festivals, corporate events, weddings and many clubs from Boston to Philadelphia including Lincoln Center, NJPAC, The Supper Club, Windows On The World and Webster Hall.
